Election of a President of the 2026 City Council (nonbinding vote).

Councilor McLaughlin nominated Councilor Davis for President. Councilor
Clingan seconded.
There being no other nominations, Councilor Ewen-Campen moved to close
nominations. Councilor Scott seconded, and the motion passed on a roll call
vote of 10 in favor (Link, Strezo, Wheeler, McLaughlin, Scott,
Ewen-Campen, Clingan, Sait, Davis, Hardt), 0 opposed, and 1 absent
(Mbah).
The roll call to select a President indicated 10 Councilors supporting
Councilor Davis (Link, Strezo, Wheeler, McLaughlin, Scott, Ewen-Campen,
Clingan, Sait, Davis, Hardt), with 1 Councilor absent (Mbah).

Councilor Davis nominated Councilor Mbah for Vice President. Councilor
Link seconded.
There being no other nominations, Councilor Ewen-Campen moved to close
nominations. Councilor Scott seconded, and the motion passed on a roll call
vote of 10 in favor (Link, Strezo, Wheeler, McLaughlin, Scott,
Ewen-Campen, Clingan, Sait, Davis, Hardt), 0 opposed, and 1 absent
(Mbah).

Councilor Ewen-Campen moved to adjourn and Councilor Clingan seconded. The motion was approved

Sait, Davis, Hardt), 0 opposed and 1 absent (Mbah). The meeting was adjourned at 6:38 PM.
