Chair Hardt noted that this item was carried over from a previous meeting
and that a public hearing has previously taken place.
Jacqueline Duffy, representing Eversource, explained that the concerns
raised by the abutter have been addressed, and that Eversource has agreed to
replace the pole in question and use the existing risers to place the conduit,
as those risers are not currently being used.
Chair Hardt sponsored Ward Five City Councilor Naima Sait to speak, who
expressed support for this item now that the abutter’s concerns have been
addressed.
Chair Hardt moved to condition the license: That a new pole is installed and
that the existing risers be used for the new conduit. The motion was
approved on a roll call vote of 3 in favor (Councilors Davis, Wheeler,
Hardt), 0 opposed.
