Lt. Brian O'Donovan spoke about his 25+ years of service in the SFD, most recently in Fire Prevention. Chief Sullivan spoke about the importance of the position. Mr. Roche explained that this promotion would have become effective on April 23, 2015, however, it was held up pending a resolution to a complaint filed regarding the appointment. That complaint was determined to have no merit. Alderman McWatters' motion that Lt. O'Donovan's appointment to Captain be retroactive to April 23, 2015, was approved. RESULT: APPROVED 199560: Requesting the appointment of C. Anne Brockelman as an Alternate Member of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Ms. Brockelman was unable to attend this meeting, however, Mr. Proakis distributed her resume and spoke about her background. He feels that Ms. Brockelman will be an excellent addition to the ZBA. RESULT: APPROVED
