CITY OF SOMERVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 2015-__ In Board of Aldermen: Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen, in session assembled, that Section 2-247 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Somerville is hereby amended as follows: 1. By striking the first sentence and replacing it as follows: “The director of the recreation and youth commission shall be appointed by the mayor, subject to confirmation by the Board of Aldermen. Prior to confirmation by the Board of Aldermen, the Board shall hold a public hearing and invite input from the Recreation Commission.” 2.
