Approval of the May 25, 2016 Minutes RESULT: ACCEPTED 201267: Green Cab requesting approval of an ordinance to require that taxicabs accept credit cards for fare payment, that taxicabs be also licensed as livery vehicles, and that street hails and taxi stands be permitted only for taxis. Mr. Snyder discussed the process of drafting the ordinances and explained the differences between livery and taxi licenses. These proposed ordinances will level the playing field for taxi companies, Uber and Lift. Ms. Phillips gave a synopsis of the proposed ordinances. RESULT: APPROVED Committee Meeting Handouts: 1.
