Curtatone City of Somerville 93 Highland Ave Somerville, MA 02143 Dear Mayor Curtatone, Thank you for submitting an application to the 2017 Massachusetts Skills Capital Grant Program. The Workforce Skills Cabinet received 64 applications requesting over $22 million in funding. As you can imagine, the selection process was highly competitive. I am pleased to inform you that City of Somerville was approved for a grant in the amount of $195,111. Please be advised that this award letter does not constitute a contract with the Commonwealth of MA for the grant award specified above. The City of Somerville should not proceed with any purchases/work on this project, which is expected to be reimbursed through the Skills Capital Grant Program, until a contract has been fully executed between the awardee and the MA Executive Office of Education. This award letter is subject to the awardee’s completion of all necessary documents/forms confirming the project plan as outlined in the submitted application and shall not confer any rights onto the City of Somerville.
