Description: Join us at South Street Farm for our annual
Maple Syrup Boil Down! Each winter Groundwork
Somerville taps local sugar maple trees on Tufts Campus
and collects the sap with volunteers from the community.
The Boil Down is a chance to experience the process of
boiling sap into maple syrup and to connect with our
community.

Location: South Street Farm is mostly pavement, with a
few large farm beds. We have fencing around most of the
