From: Rimma Pevzner To: John Long Cc: City Clerk Contact Subject: Notice about Public hearing on July 11, 2019 RE. Installation of wireless cel. antenna and related equipment Date: Monday, July 08, 2019 2:01:38 PM Hi John, As the owner of 70-72 Dane Street Somerville, I received a Letter from you regarding the above mentioned Hearing.  Unfortunately I can not come to the Hearing due to the fact that it is my niece’s birthday. But nevertheless I do have my opinion on this matter and I would like it to be heard. I am strongly against this installation. I am a real estate agent with almost 30 years of experience selling homes throughout Massachusetts. I had numerous cases when the buyers would decline purchasing of a home only due to the proximity to the cellular towers. After doing extensive research on Internet, they find out that there are possible health related issues in the long run, and people do not want to deal with that. I even had a case when an Air Quality Test was done and after reviewing the test, buyers backed out of the sale. I think these towers should not be allowed in densely populated areas, as it will represent health problem in the future and also we will see decline in values of real estate properties, and I am sure nobody wants that. Somerville has come a long way to become as beautiful as it is now. 20 years ago when we purchased this home, the city looked quite differently and with the continued efforts of the City Hall it grows, improves and raised it values tremendously. We sure would like to have that going forward for many years to come. I hope my voice is heard and the cel towers are not allowed. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.     Rimma Pevzner- Owner   MetroBoston Realty Group   Direct: [phone removed]   www.MetroBostonRealtyGroup.com This message contains information which may be confidential and privileged.Unless you are the addressee you may not use, copy or disclose to anyone any information in it. In case you have received the message in error, please, delete it.
