CITY OF SOMERVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 2020-____ In City Council June ____, 2020 Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen, in session assembled, that Sections 2-322 and Sections 2-323 of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Somerville, are hereby stricken in their entirety and replaced with the following: Section 2-322. Pursuant to the 2016 study of the municipal compensation advisory board, effective July 1, 2016, there is hereby established the following categories and associated salaries for non-union positions identified as NU1 – N14 and grade steps 1 – 16. This scale shall be updated every two (2) years to maintain viability of the scale. Effective, July 1, 20182020 the scale has been updated to add an seventeenth eighteenth (17th18th) step at the end of the scale.
