The meeting took place virtually via GoToWebinar and was called to order at 6:05 PM by Chairman White and adjourned at 6:27 PM on a roll call vote of 3 in favor (Councilors Scott, Mbah and White), none against and none absent. Mr. Long informed the committee that all outstanding conditions have been met on all of the properties listed on the agenda. Councilor Scott would like to add conditioning language to the permits. Mr. Dirico stated that Tufts has produced a comprehensive plan to deal with the COVID situation and has made testing data available on their public dashboard: <https://coronavirus.tufts.edu/testing-metrics>. Mr. Dirico assured the committee that students have been following protocols and that Tufts continues to enforce best practices regarding this matter. Approval of the September 9, 2020 Minutes RESULT: ACCEPTED 210484: That the Administration work with this Council for a smooth transition of outdoor seating permits when they reach the Council for renewal beyond November 1. In order to assist businesses providing outdoor seating during the COVID situation and to provide transparency, Chairman White proposed the following motion: Be it hereby ordered by the City Council, in session assembled, that through December 31, 2021, any business with a license from the City of Somerville Licensing Commission for outdoor food and/or beverage service for outdoor seating shall not require further

The motion was unanimously approved on a roll call vote with Councilors, Scott, Mbah and White all voting in favor.
