CITY OF SOMERVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 2020-_____ In City Council: - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TREE PRESERVATION ORDINANCE Be it ordained by the City Council, in session assembled, that Section 12-102 of the Tree Preservation Ordinance of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Somerville is hereby amended as follows: Sec. 12-102. - Definitions. At the end of the definition of Invasive Plant, insert the following sentence: “However, Norway Maples and other trees larger than 24 inches DBH (diameter at breast height) except for Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima) shall not be considered invasive plants.” Approved: President, City Council
