AN ORDER MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF $2,718,676.20 TO REPAY DEBT ASSOCIATED WITH THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE OF LAND IN UNION SQUARE THAT HAS BEEN SOLD BY THE CITY, AS REQUIRED BY G.L. c. 44, §63, SUCH APPROPRIATION TO BE MADE FROM A PORTION OF THE SALE PROCEEDS OF SUCH LAND Ordered: That, the Mayor’s request for approval of the City Council to make an appropriation of $2,718,676.20 to pay costs of outstanding debt associated with the purchase of land in Union Square that was subsequently sold by the City, as required by G.L. c. 44, §63 is hereby approved. This appropriation shall be met by a transfer of said amount from a portion of the sale proceeds realized by the City upon the sale of such land. 91654606v.2
