APPROVAL CONDITION Provide dimensionally accurate Site Plan that shows occupancy of northern parking lane and vehicle travel lane on Somerville Ave. Site Plan must maintain ADA accessibility to the booths via the existing crosswalks at the Kilby Street and Hawkins Street intersections. Pedestrian entryways must be taped/sectioned off so the pedestrians maintain at least 4’ of physical distance from the vehicle lane at all times. Stage the tents in the vehicle travel lane and use the parking lane as a 6' wide (or wider) access way at all times. APPROVAL CONDITION Provide a Traffic Management and Safety Plan that includes all traffic signage, traffic cones and barriers, parking restrictions, and Police Details necessary to safely manage pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle traffic on Somerville Ave and to protect shoppers from ongoing vehicle traffic during marketplace operations. Provide at least 12 traffic barriers, including two at the lane shift, to protect the marketplace from the vehicle travel lane. The remaining barriers are to be installed along the length of the marketplace, evenly spaced and connected by cones and rods such that the marketplace is continuously physically separated from the vehicle travel lane.
