The street mural was first painted in 2017 and last repainted in 2018. Neighbors plan to repaint the street mural using the existing design and colors. The painting would occur in the morning, and once the painting is completed later in the afternoon, the neighbors plan to hold a potluck-style block party in the intersection. An initial neighborhood meeting has been held to survey interest in the repainting and block party. Fifteen neighbors attended and many more have expressed interest in both helping to organize the event and participating in the painting/block party. Mark Chase of Neighbor Ways helped plan and execute the original street mural and has agreed to help again with this repainting. Neighbors will donate money for paint and supplies.   Location: The large intersection of Marion and Dimick Streets (entire area where street mural is currently painted). It is also meant to help calm traffic, since people often speed through our neighborhood to avoid Beacon Street. Yes During the block party, a grill will be used to cook hot dogs/hamburgers/etc. An adult will be manning the grill at all times. The grill will be used in the intersections where there is plenty of open room. Grill safety equipment will be close by to ensure the safety of attendees. Streets blocked?
