Social or cultural benefits:
A group of neighbors in our block want to host a band for

no private parcel to comfortably (and with distance) host
the band and guests. We would like to block the street

Financial benefits:
Not direct, but Porchfest has the least amounts of bands
in East Somerville. If we promote and attract audience to
our band (and others in the neighborhood) attendants
might stay after and eat and shop in the Broadway
business district. If permitted, we will coordinate with East
Somerville Main Streets, and others, to promote the event.
