This grant will be used to fund a study to assess the feasibility of adding battery backup power to one or more of the buildings owned by the municipality. The application for this grant was signed by former Mayor Curtatone. The grant funds will be used to pay for a consultant to conduct the study. By accepting the grant, the City Council will support the Office of Sustainability and Environment executing the grant. The consultant will be identified through a comparison of three competitive quotes. The initiative is expected to be completed by September 29, 2023. Thank you for your time and consideration.
