This event is being held in collaboration with the City's Office of Sustainability and Environment and the Climate Coalition of Somerville. It will include gardening, nature, and art activities, with some participatory music and/or dance. It will also serve as the kick off for a series of events to convene climate activists and artists to create transformative collaborations.   Location: The Somerville Community Growing Center is an 11,000 sq foot city owned public space that is managed by the Friends of the Community Growing Center as an educational and cultural gathering space for the community. In addition to demonstration and food production gardens, the space includes a stage area and room to offer free cultural and educational events. We are working to engage language guides/interpreters to assist Spanish and Portuguese speaking visitors to actively participate. Our outreach also includes organizations, such as Walnut St Center, that serve residents with disabilities.
