Let's join together for an epic day of celebration,
community building and co-creation for the second annual
Calvin Street Block Party. Bring your bass instrument,
lime mango kale salad, and dancing boots because this is
going to be one for the books.

Entertainment: Each house will be responsible for
contributing their own form of entertainment. This includes
but is not limited to: musical instruments for porch
concerts (building on the momentum from porchfest the
weekend prior), performance art (flash mob etc).

Social or cultural benefits:
The Calvin Street Block Party will bring together residents
of Calvin and nearby areas to meet one another, make
friends, and have a jolly good time.
Financial benefits:
We imagine Thai Hut, Wine and Cheese Caske, and
perhaps even Broadsheet will have additional customers
that day

We will place handmade posters up and down the street
and in adjacent parts such as Perry and Lincoln. We will
use porchfest as an opportunity to spread the word.

Each house will be responsible for their own food, in a
potluck style. There won't be food trucks or vendors, but in
the spirit of community we intend that everyone is willing
to share the cookies they bake, etc
