CITY OF SOMERVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS ORDER FOR CITY COUNCIL ORDERED: That the Somerville City Council amends the August 16, 2012 acceptance of Sections 3 to 7 of Chapter 44B of the General Laws of Massachusetts, also known as the Community Preservation Act (Act), by amending the surcharge on real property for the purposes permitted by said Act from 1.5 % to 3.0 %, starting with taxes assessed for the fiscal year beginning on July 1, 2025.
