CITATION Be it hereby known to all that the Somerville City Council and the Mayor offer their sincerest commendations to Lieutenant Jay Colbert On the auspicious occasion of his retirement after more than 36 years of service to the Somerville Fire Department. He held leadership roles in the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), and the Professional Fire Fighters of MA (PFFMA).
