CPC FY18 Recommendation Blessing of the Bay Extension 5-2-2023 — File 23-0725

    COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION FOR CONTRACT EXTENSION: BLESSING OF THE BAY PARK REVITALIZATION PHASE 2, MYSTIC RIVER WATERSHED ASSOCIATION AND MASS. DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND RECREATION PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project implements improvements to the Blessing of the Bay Park. Awarded CPA funds in FY2018, the original contract was extended by one year in 2021, and one year again in 2022 due to a change in the planting schedule. The Mystic River Watershed Association requests extension again by two additional years to recover from delays caused by the drought in 2022. See attached memorandum for further description.
