As the Accreditation Manager I became an MPAC Certified Assessor. This allows me to conduct MPAC assessments at
police departments throughout the Commonwealth. I have completed three external accreditation assessments, helping to
build beneficial relationships with other police departments.
Sergeant Traffic Division – February 2013 to October 2013
Supervised seven patrol officers responsible for the department traffic enforcement plan; conducted investigations motor
vehicle accidents. Served as designated department Hackney Officer and managed the inspections of city authorized taxi
cabs.
Sergeant Community Policing and Planning - February 2012 to February 2013
Managed the Community Policing program and assisted the Special Operations Lt. with the department accreditation
effort. Served as the department liaison to the Immigrant/Police Dialogue working group.
Sergeant/Patrol Supervisor - February 2011 to February 2012
Supervised of uniformed officers assigned to my block within the patrol division. Filled vacancy as the Patrol Division
Commanding Officer in the Lieutenant’s absence.

Served as the liaison between the Somerville Police Department and the Middlesex District Attorney’s office. Scheduled
all SPD officers’ appearances in various courts throughout Middlesex County and other jurisdictions throughout the state.

performed related duties as required. Worked with a diverse Somerville community to foster cooperation and identify
