Introducing Neeraj Wadhera I am very pleased to introduce myself to the SCW interview panel. As a relatively new resident in Somerville ( we moved here in December, 2016) I am very pleased to be in this city.  I have over 38 years of work experience, around 34 years in technology, in a range of leadership roles in the financial services sector. I had a successful 20 year career with Fidelity Investments in Boston. As a founding member of the leadership team for Fidelity’s captive center in Bangalore, India, I led multiple IT teams and was influential in establishing culture, policies and processes. As General Manager for their Chennai site, I built and led the office from its inception to a highly productive site with over 700 associates. Having worked in multiple countries and in different positions, I have gained immense experience in mentoring young leaders as well as executive leaders. Since the last 10 years, I have been volunteering in various positions. - I have been working at SCORE. I am a certified mentor and Co-chair of SCORE organization, where I mentor first time entrepreneurs. -I have been mentoring MBA students from Babson. - I have tutored at Kennedy Middle School in Somerville. - I am serving as a board of director at the CoA in Somerville. I am very keen to do more for the community.  In the last few years of my working life, I was heading up the initiatives for the women and minorities at RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) and really enjoyed it.  In my current role at SCORE, I have an opportunity to work with women and other minorities.  I feel strongly that I can contribute to the Somerville Commission.
