The event provides sponsorship opportunities at all levels so that all Davis Sq businesses can easily be involved. Residents have the opportunity to explore new restaurants and build community connections to foster pride in the Somerville community. Financial benefits: | Describe any financial benefits of this event for Somerville businesses or organizations: Davis Sq restaurants will donate food and servers for 300 small portions and will be included an a Punch Ticket with $1000 drawing at the end of the calendar year. Thus, participating restaurants benefit from exposure to hundreds of potential new customers, as well as media coverage and visibility leading up to the event. The participating restaurants do not directly benefit financially from the proceeds of the event. 100% of funds raised will be used to contract for professional grant writer(s) to work with local NGOs. However, the exposure will, in turn, create financial benefits.
