CITY OF SOMERVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 2026- IN CITY COUNCIL: ________, 2026 Be it ordained by the City Council, in session assembled, that Chapter 2, Article III of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Somerville is amended as follows by inserting the following section. Sec. 2-49. – Meetings. (a) Regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of each month at 7 p.m. except when the Thursday falls on a holiday, in which case the meeting shall be held on the preceding Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. (1) Beginning on January 11, 2028, regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on the second and fourth Tuesday evenings of each month, beginning at 6 p.m. except when the Tuesday falls on a holiday, in which case the meeting shall be held on the following Thursday evening at 6 p.m. Approved: President Approved: Mayor
