The event will be hosted at Glen Park and has been planned in coordination with the Glen Park Community Garden coordinator. The city’s vendor for the curbside food waste collection pilot program, Garbage to Garden, will provide the finished compost and staff for the event. The Office of Sustainability and several community organizations will attend to share resources and assist residents. The event will also be an opportunity to raise awareness and interest in the city’s curbside food waste collection pilot program in East Somerville.
