CITATION Be it hereby known to all that the Somerville City Council and Mayor offer their sincerest commendations to Kathleen Hern On the auspicious occasion of her retirement after 37 years of distinguished service as an educator, including 20 years at the West Somerville Neighborhood School. She shared her love of reading with countless emerging readers and is recognized for her generosity in building a classroom library and sharing books with her students. The Councilors and the Mayor offer their congratulations and extend their best wishes for a happy retirement.
