The MNREB funds were used for the following: ●​ 4 Green Team youth employees from July 8 through August 15, 2025 ●​ 5 Green Team youth employees from March 23rd through May 31st, 2026 The match provided by Groundwork Somerville is funded through private foundation grants and individual donors and includes the following: ●​ Rent & utilities for March - August at 30%: $3,552 ●​ Partial payroll for our Co-Director, Youth Programs Lead: $23,976 ●​ Partial payroll for our Co-Director, Climate Resilience Lead, who will also prepare and deliver lessons: $10,500 ●​ Partial payroll for our Co-Director, Urban Agriculture Lead, who will also prepare and deliver lessons: $10,500 ●​ Partial payroll for our Farm Manager and Educator, who will also prepare and deliver lessons: $1,500 ●​ Payroll for our Green Team Leader: $3,600 ●​ Payroll for our Green Team Peer Leaders: $1,456 ●​ Supplies and materials for the Green Team: $970 Total Match = $56,054.00 Sincerely, John Spangenberger Board President Groundwork Somerville Groundwork Somerville is a community-based, action-oriented non-profit.
