The site now meets ADA Title II requirements with a 93.1% compliance score, and conforms to WCAG 2.1 at both Level A (91.6%) and Level AA (86.3%). A total of 1,274,530 individual accessibility occurrences were resolved across 29 categories of issues. WHAT WAS ACCOMPLISHED Critical navigability fixes Content writing Major issues including "Page missing a title" and "Link missing a text alternative" were resolved across nearly 2,000 pages, significantly improving access for screen reader users navigating the site. Structural and technical integrity Development The development team addressed complex issues including "Role not inside the required context" and "Required ARIA attribute is missing," accounting for over 250,000 corrected occurrences. Keyboard focus indicators and link identification were also improved. Broad user benefit across accessibility needs All teams Remediation specifically improved access for users with vision impairments (text alternatives, contrast, ARIA roles), mobility limitations (keyboard focus indicators), and cognitive differences (clear page titles and consistent link labelling). AI-assisted remediation Efficiency High-impact issues such as missing button text alternatives and empty container elements were remediated using AI tooling, significantly accelerating the improvement process and scope of coverage. CONTRIBUTIONS BY TEAM REMAINING ITEMS & ONGOING MAINTENANCE Seven issues remain open on the Siteimprove dashboard, including color contrast improvements across forms, a small number of links and form labels missing text alternatives, and isolated table and heading issues. These do not affect the site's compliance status.
