Neighbors from Parkdale Street and Perry Street will come together to bring the event to life. From noon to 4pm on July 10th, we will close Perry Street to cars and open it up to people. We will have lawn games, art activities, food, and music. For those who are able, we will ask for a $5 suggested donation to help cover costs.   What is your budget for this event: $200   Social or cultural benefits:  The Perry Street Block Party will be open to the public! It will be welcoming to all ages, including families, and will include lots of fun summer activities (sidewalk chalk, lawn games etc). We will advertise it widely so that all in the community can come and celebrate.   Financial benefits:  We will purchase supplies for the party from local businesses.
