Somerville residents will in turn benefit from the fun performances, as well as providing an opportunity to connect with others
in the community.

eventgoers to go to Portico for food and drinks afterwards, and will be brining a large number of people to an area of the city
that often does not get a lot of foot traffic on the weekends, benefitting all local businesses.

Event Name : Love in Bloom

Describe the Event: Love in Bloom is a variety show hosted by local drag queen Cece Knight Jones, which will celebrate
our queer community during pride month. The show will feature local queer artists doing a variety of performance art
including drag, music, and comedy. Following the variety show, there will be an hour-long DJ set by Cece Knight Jones
during which eventgoers can dance, relax, and have fun while celebrating pride on Somerville's only urban farm. At GWS, we
care deeply about building coalitions with other aligned organizations. That is why we will also be donating half of the
proceeds from the donations to Boston GLASS, an organization the supports queer youth of color in the greater Boston area.
Describe any Entertainment at the Event (if none, type None): There will be a 1.5 hour variety show featuring local
artists, followed by an hour-long DJ set.

seating arrangements available

social media (including Life Drawing Boston, Boston GLASS, and many other local nonprofits), and plug the event on our
own socials, as well as share promotional materials with all performers so they can also invite their communities to the event.

If yes, describe:: We would like to block off South St. between Windsor St. and Willow St. There is an easy route around for
drivers to go up Earle St., onto Windsor Pl. around Boynton yards.

regular work activities, we are confident they will allow us to use part of their parking lot.
