1. Describe the Event: Love in Bloom is a variety show hosted by local drag queen Cece Knight Jones, which will celebrate our queer community during pride month. The show will feature local queer artists doing a variety of performance art including drag, music, and comedy. Following the variety show, there will be an hour-long DJ set by Cece Knight Jones during which eventgoers can dance, relax, and have fun while celebrating pride on Somerville's only urban farm. At GWS, we care deeply about building coalitions with other aligned organizations. That is why we will also be donating half of the proceeds from the donations to Boston GLASS, an organization the supports queer youth of color in the greater Boston area. Describe any Entertainment at the Event (if none, type None): There will be a 1.5 hour variety show featuring local artists, followed by an hour-long DJ set. As this event is on a weekend and will not interfere with their regular work activities, we are confident they will allow us to use part of their parking lot.
