Please select the top three areas in which you have working knowledge, strong interest, and/or experience: Equity Energy Buildings Statement of Interest: I have studied, worked, and now live in Somerville, which has allowed me to experience Somerville from a variety of different vantage points. From each of those viewpoints, I have been inspired and committed to being involved in whatever way I can to make the City of Somerville a place where people want to live, work, and play. As someone who has worked in municipal and state government specifically on energy and environmental programs and policy, I have been continually interested in bringing those learnings and resources to the places that mean so much to me. In 2023 I began attending CEUCC meetings as a member of the public to get more involved and when a position on the commission opened, I applied and officially joined the CEUCC in December 2023. Since then I have continued to bring my expertise in energy and environment to the CEUCC/ICAC. Additionally, my involvement in other appointed commissions, such as the Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Advisory Council and its Equity Working Group allows me to bring critical information such as developments or new pilots through Mass Save directly to the Commission and OSE. Finally as a new parent, I am interested in supporting the next generation of Somerville residents by ensuring the choices we make today enhance sustainability for the longterm.
