MWRA I/I Sewer Funding (Infiltration and Inflow) - Phases 9-11 To reduce I/I and relieve sewer system capacity that would otherwise be available to transport sanitary flow. The MWRA I/I program provides grants and 0% interest loans in lieu of the City's traditional sewer authorizations. Authorization to participate in the MWRA's I/I Local Financial Assistance Program allocating phased monies to be used by the City to perform local infiltration and inflow "I/I" reduction and sewer rehabilitation. I/I funds will supplement other Sewer Rehabilitation funding for recurring or discrete sewer rehabilitation projects, including all aspects of design, investigations, and construction related to sewer and wastewater collection systems. IAM-Engineering This funding will be applied to various recurring Sewer Rehabilitation projects as well as discrete projects like the New Mystic Sewer Separation and the Spring Hill Sewer Separation projects.
