This citywide event provides space and time for all level musicians to perform from the comfort of their porch. Many musicians do not have proper spaces in Somerville to play or rehearse. This event give everyone the opportunity to play outdoors.   Financial benefits:  PorchFest brings the community together and out into the neighborhoods. We have collected feedback from businesses that PorchFest is one of their busiest business days.
