Easter Vigil starts with open fire blessing to light the
Easter Paschal Candle... Fire ceremony is only a small
part of the Easter Vigil Celebration, but very important. It
only takes about 5 minutes and after the paschal candle
is lit, the fire is put out and the community moves inside
the church to continue the main celebration.
