Along the way, they stop into shops to grab a snack or to enter a store they haven't visited before. This is the fourth time we are seeking a license to have the street closed to traffic. We asked for and received a license to have the street closed to traffic in 2020, prior to the event's cancellation due to COVID. We received licenses in 2022 & 2023 and the event on Charnwood Rd proceeded without incident. No obstructions allowed in the travel lane of the street. Emergency vehicles must have room to pass in event of an emergency.
