What is your budget for this event:
Social or cultural benefits:
The bands on Morrison Ave, including my band playing at 69
Morrison Ave, have been very popular in past years, and we
would like to close the street to have more room for attendees.
Additionally we'd like to have dancing in the street; the dancing
at the block party last year was well-attended and written up in
the Boston Globe: https://www.bostonglobe.com/2023/05/13
/arts/photos-somerville-porchfest-returns-with-live-
performances-lots-dancing/
Financial benefits:
Porchfest attendees often buy food and drink locally.
