Approval Conditions:
Approved By:
CS Mayor, Approved with Conditions
In previous years the road closures did not include Prospect Hill Pkwy, which forms a traffic connection between Central Hill and Union Square. This is approved
under the condition that SPD, Fire, Engineering, etc. review the additional closure request of Prospect Hill Pkwy and confirm that closing the through connection will
not create a safety burden or undue traffic burden. Organizers note that the number of pedestrians warrants this added closure for safety. If the closure is not approved
perhaps SAC and others could advise organizers on alternate safety measures?
Kevin Roche, Approved
Charles Breen, Approved with Conditions
Use only easily moveable barriers to block the street. Emergency vehicles must be able to pass in an emergency. No obstructions in travel lane. I will only approve
this with the condition that Prospect Hill Parkway is NOT to be closed and must remain open for traffic. This is a primary response route for the Fire Department. In
the interest of public safety I will not support its closure for this event.
CS Traffic and Parking, Approved
Eric Weisman, Approved with Conditions
Block parties in this area are restricted to 3:30PM to 6:30PM during porchfest.
Timothy Mitsakis, Approved with Conditions
I will only approve this with the condition that Prospect Hill Parkway is NOT to be closed and must remain open for traffic.
