May 16, 2024 Memo: Generator Donation from the City of Boston Office of Emergency Management From: Department of Public Works The Department of Public Works (DPW) requests to accept a donation of a 2012 mobile generator from the City of Boston Office of Emergency Management. The generator is in acceptable operating condition and has very low hours. The generator would serve as back up power for City buildings during an emergency. Currently the DPW does not own a mobile generator for emergency purposes.
