Hi Ashley, I am emailing to express my interest in joining the Somerville Council on Aging Board of Directors. I currently work in case management and have an extensive background working with the aging population. I currently hold certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and am obtaining a degree at Lesley University in Psychology with a Mental Health concentration. As a lifelong resident of Somerville, with aging parents and in-laws who also reside in the area, I have great interest in helping our elderly population stay safe at home while supporting and possibly bringing different perspectives and ideas that may improve upon the way we look at aging and support and engage our residents living in Somerville.
