Somerville feminist punk band Sidebody played their first show at one of our park events and it was attended by Pop star Maggie Rogers. Maggie developed a relationship with the band and they recently opened for her at the Paradise Rock Club. Financial benefits: In previous events we've held in Somerville parks, attendees have purchased items from various Somerville businesses before, during, and after the event.
