Alderman Heuston informed Mr. Fragione that vehicles cannot be authorized to be in a city lot due to liability issues and Solicitor Wright stated that public property cannot be used by private businesses without going through the bid process. Mr. Fragione asked if he could appeal the tickets at the Traffic and Parking Department and Mr. Nuzzo stated that he would like the parking tickets to be paid. Chairman Desmond made it clear that the lot is not to be used for parking of unauthorized vehicles and if Mr. Fragione is unclear about this, the committee would amend his license. Chairman Desmond’s motion that the City Clerk review the garage license in place for A+ Auto Body on Medford Street and re-word the license, eliminating any mention of Just A Start program and the sharing of any lot not specifically licensed by the Somerville Board of Alderman, was approved 188742 - That the City Solicitor Appear at the Next Meeting of the Committee on Licenses & Permits, with an Opinion on the Automatic Amusement Device Application for Game Underground, 1123 Broadway.: Alderman Heuston's motion that the City Solicitor review the ordinance regarding automatic amusement devices and make recommendations for amending same, was approved.
