Positions held on the Mayor’s management team in the “SomerStat” program as a senior
analyst, acting director, and currently as operations manager of a department in transition.
SomerStat accomplishments: spearheaded special projects such as a fire department
management study and organizational review of ISD; convened a task force that
developed an attractive Request for Proposal for a major city service; coordinated and
packaged proposals from all city departments for federal stimulus funding.
Inspectional Services Division (ISD): support new director in overall management of
operations and personnel, coordinate Neighborhood Impact Team, convene Rodent
Abatement Task Force, identify dta and documented processes.
Alliance to Save Energy
1998 – 2008
Positions held ranged from Senior Research Associate to Acting Director of International
Programs. Worked in Washington, D.C. and Central & Eastern Europe.
Acting Director: Supervised 3 managers and numerous contractors. Oversaw program
performance, quality control and timely submission of project deliverables. Oversaw
program budgets and spearheaded fundraising. Coordinated with other teams on joint
projects and proposals. Presented deliverables to donor organizations.
Senior Program Manager: Supervised contractors and managed Central European
energy efficiency programs. Authored and co-authored research studies for publication.
Worked as lead on-site consultant for residential heating project in Armenia.
Program Manager: Managed contractors, led research projects, prepared deliverables
for international donors, organized international study tours, seminars, and workshops.
Program Associate and Senior Research Associate: Supported field-based energy-
efficiency programs, edited and finalized international program reports for donors.
