In order to bring a legal action for negligence and/or breach of contract, the City needs subject matter experts, in this instance the Department of Infrastructure and Asset Management, to report to the Law Department that there is a breach of the standard of care and/or breach of contract. In the absence of those facts, the Law Department does not identify a viable cause of action. I have sent this email via cc to all Committee members to avoid any inadvertent violations of the Open Meeting Law. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
