Dir., Historic Preservation Commission Present Robert May OSPCD Present Dick Bauer Chairman, Historic Preservation Commission Present • PUBLIC HEARING: Local Historic District properties (Group E) Mr. May gave a presentation on the Local Historic District properties (Group E) and discussed each property’s historical significance and architectural elements. Members discussed the designations of a church on College Avenue and also St. Catherine Church on Summer Street. A complete list of properties should be available by this fall. There being no speakers in favor, nor against, the public hearing was closed. The record will remain open until the close of business on June 10, 2011, to receive written comments. Mr. Bauer introduced members of the Historic Preservation Commission and explained how the Commission works with property owners in these matters. 191540 - Requesting approval of the city re-precincting proposed by the State based on the 2010 Federal Census results.: Mr. Salerno reviewed the precinct boundary changes with the committee and pointed out that the changes were minor in Wards 2, 3, 4 and 5. Wards 1, 6 and 7 had no adjustments. The Elections Department will ensure that effected residents are notified of the changes well before the next election cycle.
