Various Revolving Funds were also reviewed. Alderman O'Donovan was recused from the Fire Department discussions, Alderman Roche was recused from the Police Department discussions and Alderman Taylor was recused from the Animal Control discussions. Alderman Sullivan provided a disclosure regarding his wife's employment as it related to the Fire Department.

Connolly: • requested that the Administration send a communication to the Board of Aldermen regarding the status of a replacement facility in the Fire Department. Ald. Gewirtz: • requested (from Chief Kelleher) a breakdown of line item #519013 - Other Lump Sum Payments. Ald. White: • requested (from Chief Pasquarello) that additional information be provided, including the effect of the Quinn Bill, regarding line item #511000 - Salaries, to account for the $1.3 million not yet encumbered. • requested (from Chief Pasquarello) information, in graph form, of the Police Department’s overtime expenditures for FY-11. • requested (from Chief Pasquarello) a report on the amount of money realized from the forfeiture program in FY-11 and the amount expected for FY-12. • requested (from Chief Pasquarello) an explanation of the amount of money spent for court time. • Requested (from Mr. Bean) additional information for the Communications Department Revolving Fund. Ald. Heuston: • requested (from Chief Pasquarello) that information be provided detailing the amount of Police Department overtime caused by other departments. Ald. Taylor: • requested (from Chief Pasquarello) an update on the consolidation of 911, Fire Alarm and regionalization. 191645 - Requesting the authorization of the Dilboy Pool Revolving Fund for FY2012.: Mr. Halloran explained the reason for this item.
Committee of the Whole June 15, 2011 Finance Committee Page 3 of 3 Printed 6/18/2011 RESULT: APPROVED 191646 - Requesting the authorization of the SomerStreets Event Revolving Fund for FY2012 under the provisions of MGL c44 s53E1/2.: Ms. Campbell explained the reason for this item. RESULT: APPROVED 191647 - Requesting the re-authorization of certain Departmental Revolving Funds for FY2012.: Mr. Bean spoke on this item. The item was approved with the exception of the Cable Telecommunication Revolving Fund, which will be discussed at the next Finance Committee meeting on June 22, 2010. RESULT: APPROVED AS AMENDED
