No Arrangements:     Police Detail: Yes After receiving permits we will, as always, contact the Somerville PD to set up traffic and pedestrian coverage for the procession/parade date and time. We will also be in touch with the Traffic & Parking Dept to coordinate appropriate "no parking" signage. Parking (for Attendees)? No Restrooms? No Liability Insurance? Yes The organization holds policies for its chapel and policies for the street festival and parade/procession.

Will any public parks be used? No Has the event occurred in the last two years? Yes Past 96 years (except 2020 due to COVID). Always the Sunday after Labor Day. Approval Conditions: Approved By: CS Mayor, Approved Kevin Roche, Approved Dennis Sullivan, Approved CS Traffic and Parking, Approved Sean Sylvester, Approved with Conditions Close Rossmore St AND the bike lane on Washington St. from Miriam St.to Mansfield St. to allow the procession to congregate without closing Washington St. We will also provide an escort from Cambridge to Rossmore St. and once the festivities conclude will provide an escort back to Cambridge.
