Mayor Curtatone introduced Antonio Raimondi, the Honorable Mayor of Gaeta, Italy. Mayor Raimondi
explained that he was here for the 85th annual Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian, the patron saints of
Gaeta, and for the 10th Anniversary commemoration of the attacks of September 11, 2001. He also
remarked on the Sister Cities relationship between Somerville and Gaeta, and spoke favorably of the
student exchange program between the cities' high schools.
