The Board of Aldermen finds:
The federal fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988 and Massachusetts Fair Housing Act.
G.L Chapter 151 B impose an atfirm8tive duty nn local governments to 111<~ke reasonable
accommodation in their land use tlnd zoning regulations and practices when such
accommoclation may be necessary to afford individuals with disabilities ,lJ1 equal
oppoJ1unity to housing;
