Public Hearing: Chambers Motorcars, Garage License, 71 Linwood Street
Attorney Anne Vigorito, representing the petitioner, spoke in favor of the item and said that
minor auto repairs would be performed at the facility. There could be up to nine vehicles stored
inside the building and none outside. There were no speakers against the petition.

Public Hearing: Valvoline Instant Oil Change, amend Garage License, 182 Washington
Street.
Wayne Lee and Gary Sawyer, from Valvoline, spoke in favor of the petition and told the
members that this facility was the first Valvoline franchise in the company. Attorney Michael
McLaughlin stated that the company's corporate office is making a push for operating hours on
Sundays, to accommodate customers. There were no speakers against the item.

washing vehicles, storing vehicles, 9 autos in.:
Inspectional Services will monitor the operation for a period of six months for compliance with
all conditions of the license.

The City Solicitor has responded to Mr. O'Shea's communication. The committee requested that
ISD determine the allowable number of parking spaces for the parking lot. The item will remain
in committee until ISD supplys the requested information.

Michelle Boudreau, General Manager of Laundromax, described the new sign and answered
questions about it's appearance.

Ave., 10 autos in, 5 out.:
Attorney Anne Vigorito, representing the petitioner, spoke in favor of the item. Mr. Nuzzo told
the members that 14 vehicles could be stored inside the building and 4 outside. The committee
approved Alderman Trane's motion to grant the petitioner a 60 temporary license and to allow
storage of 7 cars inside the building and 2 outside.
Alderman Heuston's motion that the City Clerk notify the holder of the license for G E Auto
Repair to appear before the Committee on Licenses and Permits to discuss the terms of the
license, was approved,
